Emory opens at noon today, so I have to work. Shocking. I’ll try to make the 5 p.m. Depends on what’s going on with projects around that time. (Hard to justify quitting early when you don’t start until noon.)

Finally made it out of my house today. I’ll try to make 5, but not sure if I’ll be able to get there that early.
I do not feel good. Working out is not looking likely.
Sometimes you have bad days. Today was one for me. Chalk it up, and move on. Got 33 band-assist HSPUs and 3 rds + 2 SC @ 95#. All watered down. Couldn’t even get up the rope more than 2x. Stress, not eating enough, not sleeping well all played a part. Hope to get back to normal after Monday.
I sure did enjoying being back at my gym today.
Not that I kicked all that much ass today…
Pushups were good (2 blue bands). I hit all 50. Minute 1-8 were all in done consecutively. Of course, that meant my strength was whooped for the amrap but it was still fun.
95lbs squat cleans, 10lb pullups, pushups w/ clap
Total: 3 rounds + 2 climbs + 3 SC

Great having you back today, Erin! I was bragging on you to the new guy (David?) and telling how quickly you’ve picked up on everything.
In the 10 min got 29 HSPUs with blue/red bands. (Actually 30 since I did 6 the first round!) Frustrated because of the number of times I went down & could not push up. Oh well.
Then for the 15 min AMRAP:
2 rope climbs (mod with the yellow strap)
3 squat cleans 66# (tried 71# but had to remove 5#)
6 pull ups w/my tiny red band (will try my smaller orange one next time)
12 plyometric push ups
I completed 4 rounds + 2 climbs & 3 squat cleans
+s: The metcon felt good and I could have gone on longer, which is a nice way to finish sometimes. Reloading the DB between my legs on the PUs slowed me down so I never got winded.
-s: HSPUs don’t feel as though they’ve progressed much over the last six months. As LD pointed out, I probably should practice them more.
